Terms of Service
1. The Service
Mimovo helps you create an original, AI-generated character and insert it into short video clips you upload. Results are produced by AI models and may contain errors or artifacts; we do not guarantee a particular outcome of any generation.
2. Account
You must be at least 18 years old. You sign in with your e-mail and a one-time code; keep your e-mail account secure. You are responsible for everything done under your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app.
3. Tokens and payments
- Paid steps (character sheet, videos and some repeated generations) are paid with tokens. Prices in tokens are shown before every paid step and nothing is generated without your confirmation.
- On the website, token packs are sold by Paddle.com Market Ltd and its affiliates ("Paddle"), our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle processes your payment, issues the invoice, collects any applicable taxes and handles refunds together with us; your purchase is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms. Prices are listed on the pricing page; refunds follow our Refund Policy. In the mobile apps tokens are bought through Apple App Store or Google Play in-app purchases, subject to their terms and refund policies.
- Tokens have no cash value, are not transferable and do not expire while your account exists. Deleting your account forfeits remaining tokens.
- If a generation fails on our side or on a provider's side, the tokens for that step are not charged (or are returned automatically). Tokens are not refunded for results you simply do not like: generative models are inherently variable, which is why every step shows its price first.
- New accounts receive a small number of free generations; we may change free allowances and prices at any time for future purchases.
4. Your content and licence
You keep all rights to what you upload. You grant us a licence to store and process it, and to send it to our AI providers, solely to provide the Service. You own the generated results to the extent permitted by law; we claim no rights in them. You are responsible for how you use and publish them.
5. Rules
You must not use the Service to:
- recreate or imitate a real, identifiable person without their permission (public figures included), or copy someone else's character, brand or trademark;
- upload photos or videos of minors, or create sexual, violent, hateful or deceptive content;
- upload clips you have no right to use;
- circumvent limits, probe the system or interfere with other users.
The assistant will decline such requests. We may suspend accounts that break these rules; tokens of suspended accounts are not refunded where the suspension is due to abuse.
6. AI-generated content
Results are synthetic media. When you publish them you are responsible for complying with the rules of the platform you publish on (for example labelling AI content) and with applicable law.
7. Availability and changes
We rely on third-party AI providers and may change models, prices or features. We may suspend the Service for maintenance. We will try to give notice of material changes in the app.
8. Liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for how you use generated content. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, or the statutory rights you have as a consumer in your country of residence (including in the EU and the UK).
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the operator's country of residence, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live. Disputes are first addressed to support@mimovo.app; we try to resolve them within 14 days before either side goes to court.
